Top 3 Tips to Make Your Wedding Day The Most Memorable

As I shot Kathryn and Scott’s wedding at Trout Lake, I was reminded once again of the beauty of following your intuition when planning and honouring your special day. This couples’ selection of wedding style reflected not only the values we share in common but also the key ingredients that make your wedding day the most enjoyable and memorable. Just like it was for the Hahn’s, having these three things in mind will have a long-lasting impact on your wedding memories, for the better.

Here are my top 3 tips to make your wedding day experience the most memorable:

(01) Create a wedding day or elopement experience around your personal preferences and desires.

If you have read my previous blogs, you know I am a strong advocate of planning and executing a wedding/elopement day that feels soul-aligned and reflects your true relationship. There’s nothing better than going with what feels right and sharing that momentum with your significant other. This, my friends, makes creates the best vibe for your special day and the most cherished memories for a lifetime to come.

(02) Be open minded when crafting your wedding day.

This tip and the previous are definitely intertwined. Planning a wedding that feels right to you will take some time to nail down. I often find that the more open minded you are to new ideas and wedding day visions, the easier it will be to nail what style and details feel highly aligned for your wedding day. When it comes to executing your wedding day desires, doing it alone can add unnecessary overwhelm. So here’s another tip for you.

(03) Work with wedding professionals who connect with your vision and are ready to transform your vision to reality.

This one is highly important; I would honestly say it’s the make or break for your wedding day. Working with a wedding vendor team that sees your vision, adds their professional perspective and executes your wedding ideas is the best way to make your wedding experience enjoyable and memorable. For example, the Hahn's ceremony was originally set up inside due to the rain that morning. However, with the help of myself and a few others, we moved it outside to catch the last bit of fall color and a beautiful blue sky. Relying on a professional team on your wedding day can make it more enjoyable while feeling less stressed.

If you’re looking to execute these three tips for your elopement or wedding, you're definitely in the right place. Fill out this form to get in contact with me. My desire is to create a wedding experience that feels aligned with you and will create timeless memories.
