We got engaged in May 2018, and began the hunt for our venue and then vendors. The feedback from so many of our friends was find a photographer you love — cool, no pressure. Being from NYC, we didn’t know much about the Poconos and Stroudsburg. After some deep, and I am talking DEEP, Google, Knot, Yelp stalking, we kept coming back to these photos taken at our venue of choice by Elle Studios. We stalked her website, Instagram and Facebook and we knew we had to have her. We set up a FaceTime call and knew we made the right choice. Fast forward to September for our engagement photos, Emily made it incredibly easy by picking a beautiful spot in Wind Gap, and walking us through the entire shoot. We felt so comfortable and grateful to have a connection with her; we knew she was there with us but also didn’t feel like she was there. Neither of us have previously taken part in any professional photo shoots so we were worried we would feel awkward and uncomfortable, but that was not the case. We couldn’t believe how beautiful our engagement photos were and we spent the next 13 months so excited for our wedding. Emily and her associate, Jessica, shot our wedding on 10/11/2019 at The Stroudsmoor Country Inn at Lawnhaven. We rented an Airbnb for my girls and I to get ready in and take our first look photos at. Emily came up and helped me get dressed — no like HELPED me into my Spanx get dressed — alongside my sister/MOH. Emily is so patient and kind. She will laugh with you, cry with you, help you, recommend amazing vendors to you, and capture moments to help you never forget your day. My husband and I are so grateful for Emily, her dedication to her work, and her passion for her work. Our friends and family are blown away by the photos she has shared with us already. We cannot wait to see the rest of our photos from our wedding and what the future holds for Elle Studios!
Emily went above and beyond all of our expectations
Choosing a wedding photographer was the most important part of the wedding planning process for us. This was the person that would be giving us our memories we could look back on for years to come (no pressure). Well, Emily went above and beyond all of our expectations. It started with our amazing engagement photos at longwood gardens, where emily not only made the drive to meet us there but managed to make my dreams of a magical foresty shoot come to life. Which is difficult to do in the middle of a PA winter. Then our wedding. Emily truly out did herself. From helping me with my dress, calming anxious family members, taking the most breathtaking photos, and helping pull off a firework surprise. She truly was by our side throughout the day and was like a close friend celebrating with us, embracing all of the out of the ordinary cultural shenanigans like money dances and dabke's (lebanese line dancing). Thank you Emily for not only being the photographer we needed that day, but a friend as well!

If you are in search of a photographer, please do yourself the biggest favor, search NO LONGER, because Emily is who you need! She is going to be your biggest cheerleader on your big day and will become your best friend for LIFE. She is there for you when you need your questions answered, she will help fix your hair for your daddy daughter dance, she will set you up for all the successes, and you will never forget the experience. Emily puts so much thought into all the details so that you don't have to. My husband and I gave her free reign to work with what we gave her, and she truly did not disappoint. We will be booking her for future opportunities- she does mommy and me photo shoots, boudoir shoots, elopements, and more! This is the woman you need in your life. Period.

She photographed both our engagement and wedding, and the pictures from both were absolutely AMAZING! Hiring her was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding because now we have INCREDIBLE photos to relive the most memorable day of our lives! On top of being an amazing photographer, she was an incredible vendor to work with. She had great ideas for shots and really took advantage of the natural beauty of our venue and the natural light! She was also great at keeping us moving (we had a lot of people to corral), which was truly a blessing.
