A Design-Forward, Modern Wedding at The Wilbur Mansion
Taylor & Erik. 🤍 A deeply moving, meaningful day. So much joy, intention, and heart woven into every moment. There were tears that came from both deep love and deep grief. These two beautiful souls found one another after each experiencing the loss of their fathers, and the way they hold one another in that shared understanding is something I’ll never forget.
What I witnessed between the two of them, surrounded by the most incredible families and friends — will stay with me forever. Taylor’s three uncles played such a powerful role in the day, and there truly wasn’t a dry eye in the room during their speeches and the dances they shared with her.
As someone who is no stranger to grief and hardship, watching them embrace every emotion and be fully present with one another and their loved ones touched me so deeply. A reminder that joy and sorrow can coexist, and that love has this way of making room for it all.
Love doesn’t erase the hard parts — it holds them. It makes space. It reminds us that even in our most tender places, we are still worthy of joy. Their day was a testament to that.
