A few months back, Andrew contacted me to schedule a session for his girlfriend. The best part? He wanted to surprise her and propose at the end of the session! Me being a hopeless romantic, I was automatically super excited and agreed instantly! We made plans to meet at Stone Lake Inn in Saylorsburg, one of my favorite Lehigh Valley wedding venues. We started the evening with gorgeous light as the sun started to set. We walked the property together, Courtney and Andrew needing little to no direction, as they were obviously smitten with one another. I was getting anxious for the end of the session and the proposal and I could tell Andrew was too. We both started stalling and taking our time walking and posing. I sent them over to the dock and took what felt like 20 minutes to figure out my settings because I wanted to NAIL it and I wanted to give him a moment to compose himself. I asked him to spin her and dance with her, then they sat together, he helped her up, and pulled her in close to talk to her. I couldn't hear his words but I knew what was coming. A few moments later, he was down on his knee and I could tell by Courtney's body language that she was taken completely by surprise. She started to cry and so did I from behind the lens. She obviously agreed to marry him and we finished our night with some more celebratory photos and met with both of their families who were overjoyed to hear all about our evening. This was such a memorable night for me, as I know it was for the two of them, and I'm so glad Andrew asked me to capture these beautiful moments. Take a look below!
Last week during my trip to Denver, Colorado I had the wonderful opportunity of shooting this beautiful elopement in the mountains thanks to the incredible Liz Franco who hosted The Seeking Workshop. I am in awe of the beauty of Colorado and spent the entire week traveling around to the most incredible places! Pike's Peak, Garden of the Gods, Overlook Mountain, Black Hawk & Golden, CO. I am feeling so inspired by everything I saw and captured and this elopement was the icing on the cake.
Everything was perfectly planned right down to every little detail. I'm a sucker for gorgeous details! The gorgeous lace dress, the trees in the mountains, the stunning florals, decor, cake, stationery, backdrop, hair & makeup - all on point.

I hope the magic of these images speaks to you just as all of the beautiful moments spoke to my creative soul.
Warm sun. Smiling faces. Cuddles. Kisses. Tickles. Holding hands. Twirls. Taking walks. This is a Mother + Child session.
This duo brought all the love and I literally gushed over every image as I edited them. What a special bond.
I had quite a few of these sessions this year for Mother's Day and to say I am obsessed with capturing moms with their little ones would be an understatement. As a mom who truly cherishes the photos I have of my daughter and myself together, I realize what a precious gift these images are. So much so that I have decided to offer these sessions year round. I'd also like to offer a special gift in honor of Mother's Day to those who are reading this. These sessions will be regularly priced at $250 for a one hour session, and for one week only (offer expires 5/19), you can book one for $200! Thats $50 off. I require a $50 deposit to hold your appointment and we can schedule it for whenever you like! I also provide wardrobe to mama's for these which makes it even easier for you. (More on that here) I have some wardrobe options for little ones 6-12 months old as well.
If you know a mama who would love this, please feel free to send her my way! I am also happy to offer these sessions to dads as well! I'm a firm believer in existing in photographs and I know dads can sometimes be hard to persuade. But think about the gift you're giving your children!

Where to begin? This family showed up with impeccable style and brought all love and feels with them. Mama's dress was picked from my client closet, which is available to you for any session! One of my goals for the year was to work on my family portfolio and book so many more family sessions because they truly speak to my heart. What could be more important than capturing all of you as a family together? Especially as your kids are growing up. You'll never have this moment with them again. They'll never be this little again. Think about those words and promise me that you'll book a family session to document it. Whether it's with me or any other photographer, DO IT! I'll be honest and say that I hope it's with me, because I have such a passion for capturing real moments and I'd love nothing more than to have a hand in telling your story.
Here's a look at the Smith family's story. Turn up the volume & press play.
At the beginning of the week I decided to throw together and impromptu styled shoot. I sent a message to my hair & makeup artist Trina to see if she was free, sent her makeup inspiration and went from there. In a matter of an hour I had hair and makeup, wardrobe and a model. The morning of the shoot I headed out to Wegmans hoping to score some pretty flowers that went with my vibe. They had some eucalyptus and babies breath, which was perfect! As my model was getting her hair and makeup done I crafted a pretty little bouquet for her.
Everything about the day was everything my creative soul needed. Bringing a vision to life so perfectly sets me on fire. I could do these sessions everyday! I have such a passion for design and making pretty things. Love to Aislinn who was the perfect model and helped the creativity flow. I decided to market these as a session I will offer, 'Wanderlust Collections'. These sessions are geared towards women who love the idea of boudoir but might be a little too shy to go that route. They are another way to step outside of yourself and spend a few hours feeling pretty and exploring a beautiful location with me. I think every woman should have gorgeous images of herself. Whether just for her, her significant other, or something to show her children. A keepsake capturing her at her most beautiful. The images speak for themselves. I hope you enjoy them!
Wanderlust consumed her; foreign hearts and exotic minds compelled her. She had a gypsy soul and a vibrant hope for the unknown.
