A Romantic Summer Wedding at Woodstone

It’s been way too long since I had some time to sit and blog my work. But this Woodstone Country Club wedding was the first one on my to do list to share, because it was a stand out favorite this year for so many reasons. I remember my first chat with Sam, and she had mentioned being a photographer herself. It’s always one of those nerve wracking things to shoot another photographer. But she felt like an old friend immediately. And I was SO honored that she asked me to capture she and Eric’s day. I remember talking with them and them mentioning they weren’t big on PDA. But, erm. These two were the DEFINITION of PDA on their wedding day haha! If you scroll any amount of these images you’ll see the raw emotion that just oozed out of them. Such a freakin’ vibe all day, truly the best energy. Their obvious adoration for one another and radiant happiness was inspiring to be apart of. Woodstone is one of those venues that I always enjoy shooting at because it’s so close to home and the experience is always top notch thanks to their attentive staff. Sam and Eric chose a first look to begin the day after getting ready, and we had a full 45 minutes of portrait time with them, and truly captured the most beautiful moments between them. We even built time into their timeline for bridal party and family photos before their ceremony began. After the ceremony we went right into the reception and stole them away for some more time together during sunset which was stunning, the soft light and pastel hues were everything. Looking back over this day brings back all the warm fuzzy feelings and reminds me just why I love what I do SO much. Creating days with intention and doing things their way with a timeline for us to create freely together means so much. Congratulations again to Mr. + Mrs. Cron! Browse some favs below.
