Meghan + Nick’s Modern Outdoor Barn Wedding

After multiple postponements and switching venues, the awaited day was finally happening for Meghan and Nick. Their beautiful Farm Bakery outdoor summer wedding was a true success. Being able to connect with these two wonderful souls and their families was a treat. From the wedding decorations to their family and friends supporting them, everything radiated love and warm connection.

Meghan and Nick’s outdoor barn wedding was definitely unique. I’d describe it as a classic wedding with a modern twist. The wedding venue they chose, The Farm Bakery & Events, was the perfect fit for this couple. To top it, the modern, classy wedding decorations Meghan and Nick chose added the perfect spice to the occasion. Being an outdoor summer wedding, they went with farm style wedding flowers and classic wedding decorations. If we talk about the bride, she is literally a goddess. Her elegant red hair and stunning features made her look gorgeous walking down the aisle aside her dad. She wore a Lazaro Milena wedding gown from La Bella Moda; such a gorgeous summer wedding dress. The groom along with his groomsmen wore neutral, beige colored suits from Jos. A. Bank. I really liked the attire color combinations; it felt like the perfect late summer wedding vibe to go for.

One of my favorite moments was connecting with Meghan’s mom. Getting to know her story  truly touched me. Oftentimes I relate so much to the moms’ of my brides. This time it was something unique. Meghan’s parents are divorced and as a divorced mom, I could feel the emotion between mom and dad as their girl got married. It was truly an honor capturing those emotional moments and watching them all come together for this special, memorable day.

Mom and I had a moment as she put Meghan’s shoes on her. We both couldn’t help but to have a flash back to her toddler days, helping her put her shoes on with such delicacy. Connections and moments like these are priceless and unforgettable.

To wrap up the night, the newlyweds and I headed outside to take intimate outdoor portraits. These are some of my favorite moments to capture. With all the nerves aside and love in the air, couples are in a relaxed environment with their significant other and their love radiates through these images. I strongly recommend to include time during your wedding day for these intimate portraits, adding more memories to your special day.
