Stephanie + Ryan’s Classy, Boho Adventure Engagement Session | Minnewaska State Park

When Stephanie first reached out, I knew we were destined to work together. She is a reiki healer and had mentioned how my instagram profile really drew her in with the high vibrational energy and connection. We were equally as excited to get to work together. We had discussed locations and the Minnewaska State Park seemed like the perfect fit for this couple. Something else that fell right into place was choosing what wedding venue to go with. The wedding venue they chose was not available on the date they had their hearts set on. Then, they later got a call that someone had cancelled for that date. They were so stoked to have the venue and they even booked me for both this adventure engagement session and their big day. I am beyond grateful to have this double honor. It’s truly divine timing.

Minnewaska State Park is located about 3 hours from my place. I was so excited driving to the location because I knew the amazing art we could create. As we arrived, we had a short hike to the lookout point. The views don't feel like east coast New York at all. It feels like something far away out west; just amazing, epic scenic vibes. We met with Stephanie and Ryan in the parking lot and walked together to the lookout point and they were truly stunning. Stephanie chose a long rust, orange toned dress that blew and billowed perfectly on the windy cliffside — see the video below for that capture of that beautiful motion. Her adorable hat with velvet detailing was a perfect choice too. Ryan wore his formal blue shirt and black pants, complementing Stephanie very well. I’d describe their adventure engagement session as boho with a tad of classy. It was a super laid baick, intentional and high vibrational session. All the details came together so well and their session was perfectly theirs.
